the eight modules:
In this gathering, participants will be given assessments to help them define what energizes and engages them at work. We'll then explore practical steps to help each person maximize time spent in a state of flow.
Your interests matter - what are you intrinsically motivated to learn? What subject matter are you curious to explore? When you are interested in the nature of your work, the work can flow from you, with less resistance.
Uncovering your strengths empowers you to craft a life consistent with those strengths. Operating within our strengths helps us work, sustainably, and make our highest point of contribution.
To live with integrity, we must first determine our values. You may know your values. But we’ll test if they are your core values, or just strategies to get what you want. When we confuse our strategies for our values, we may find that we go after a strategy (security) at the cost of what we really want (joy).
When we get clear about the kind of person we want to become, we can choose the work environment and people that will help us evolve. With this clarity, you can find opportunities that align, and pass up opportunities that might cost you who you want to become.
What motivates you? Motivation is the animating – and sometimes invisible force - behind our choices. Let’s make the invisible visible. We’ll utilize an assessment tool to help us uncover your core motivation.
Each of us has an idea as to what success means, though we may not have taken an opportunity to examine how we define success, and if that definition suits us. Too often, we default to a definition we’ve inherited from our families, from our culture, or from society at large. In this module, you’ll define for yourself the way you want to measure success.
Leverage all the data you've collected to create your own Career Compass. Your Compass represents the truths you’ve uncovered about your design and your priorities. As your circumstances or your mood shift, reference this fixed compass, like a true north, to keep you headed in the right direction - towards thriving in your career.
